Giclée Art

*What is a giclee?

A Giclee is a high-quality reproduction of a painting, using organic, water-based archival inks. The name is from the French word meaning “to spray,” indicating how the print is created. The inks are rapidly “sprayed” through the micro-jets of a printer onto a surface thus creating a piece of artwork amazingly similar to the original. A final coating is then applied to protect it from moisture and UV rays.

What's special about a Charles Pabst giclee?

Each of these Charles Pabst giclees are produced on canvas which is then stretched and framed. They are then individually hand-coated with a gel coating, duplicating the original brushstrokes to produce texture and depth.
Charles H. Pabst then personally embellishes and signs each of his own giclees, giving every one the look and feel of an original.
These Charles Pabst giclees are all signed and numbered Limited Editions. They include museum-quality framing.
