Charles Pabst donates to many local churches and schools as well as organizations such as Hospice of the Valley, Virtue Media, Knights of Columbus, House of Refuge, Pueblo Grande Museum and The Mayo Clinic. In 1999 he helped establish the Behold Your Mother Foundation.
A particular charity for which he has a passion is for Friends of the Orphans, a network of orphanages started by the late Father Wasson. Their mission is to improve the lives of orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children in Latin America and the Caribbean. Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”), is currently raising more than 3,200 boys and girls in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. An additional 1,900 students who live outside the homes receive scholarships, meals and health care. NPH outreach programs served more than 113,000 people in 2013.
When Charles had the opportunity in 1988 to visit the original orphanage in Cuernavaca, Mexico, the need and love that he saw there touched him deeply. He has had the privilege of helping to start and fund an art program for the children in the orphanage. Consider joining him in supporting this inspiring work.
